Our main artistic goal is the creation of a youth orchestra in the Galápagos Islands. We will accept young students who will just start getting to know instruments, and then choose what they feel is appropriate. Hence, it may take a good long year to produce good preliminar results, given the complexity of the endeavor. Music teaches us patience, and needs self-knowledge, body awareness, guided self-critique. Despite the known observation that music practicing should produce pleasure, it requires full attention, and expert teaching, given its multi-task characteristic.
We believe that good results that only come from proven expertise, and total dedication from the faculty. Cognitive science has proven that music, in its many possible usages. is a key to neurand builds neural connections discipline.
