We believe in teaching the youth about the current state of our planet. We want to lead the study in depth about the immediate measures needed, based on the challenges we are facing. We are see an unprecedented array of environmental challenges, primarily observed in climate change due to the use, and overuse of fossil fuels. This has an apparent relation with the melting of ice caps in both poles. The expansion of agriculture has caused deforestation all over the globe, whereas aids for better exploitation of fields include toxic substances.
We observe water scarcity, and polluted public water in all continents, whereas the oceans have seen the biggest plastic pollution in history. Both in lands and seas we do not seem to be able to organize a better system for waste management. We have not been able to fully organize a world-wide recycling system -as to reduce, reuse and recycle all posible materials. We need to let the youth know about all new ways to produce necessary energy, within the safest standards for keeping full biodiversity, standard climate, and well being for humans, and all other species.
Above all, we should include in our classes all challenges that are currently affecting our present and our children's future: if human rights are understood and acknowledged as real protection for humanity, we need to emphasize the care for our bodies, and our intellects: obesity, malnutrition and hunger are being issues which we could recognize in all continents. Within evident miscalculations we are not preserving the biodiversity, as we see species' extinctions at a yearly rate.
Most importantly, we see a big opportunity to organize a music school that includes art, science and humanities as a multifold proposal to achieve higher consciousness. We want to conduct a social trial in order to cause a clean betterment for a bounded territory. The islands are protected enough, and carefully isolated so we could see -within a relatively short period of time- how our project could cause a beneficial social change.
